After 10 years of tenancy, an elderly tenant finds herself in a deteriorating house. Her landlord refuses to address a growing list of serious issues, including a leaky roof, a faulty water heater, mold, and a severe pest infestation. The 71-year-old resident meticulously documented a list and when the landlord refused to make necessary home repairs, the tenant reported the issues to code enforcement.
